GILL WILLIAMS
Gill Williams living in Marlow, Bucks and long distance commuting up to Skye every few weeks to be with my husband Ian.
I am sergeant in charge of the Thames Valley Police Specialist Search and Recovery Team.
My interests are running, cycling, swimming, diving, dinghy sailing, horse riding, I enjoy a good book, a good glass of wine and a bowl of custard. I am doing this ride for a group of children who deserve and need so much. They have taken such a hold on my life and I will do whatever it takes to help them. I also love the challenge of something like this to train for and to compete in and also it is with a great bunch of people that I will be doing this with. Its going to be painful but fun and I'm sure there will be some good stories to tell after. You've only got to see 60 smiling faces with so much hope and warmth in their eyes to know that it is going to be worth it.
